Senna Stems-In addition to its effectiveness as a laxative, senna is utilized as a febrifuge and in the treatment of various conditions such as splenic enlargements, anaemia, typhoid, cholera, biliousness, jaundice, gout, rheumatism, tumors, foul breath, bronchitis, and potentially leprosy. It is applied in the management of amoebic dysentery as an anthelmintic and as a gentle liver stimulant. Furthermore, senna leaves, often prepared in the form of confection, are employed in the treatment of hemorrhoids.
